Your Fine Explained
Calculated on the speed in excess of the limit you're charged at. Your penalty will be based on one of three bands, these serve to provide a scale for the points placed on your licence, the duration of ban and amount of fine.BAND A
3 points on your licence
Between 25% and 75% of your weekly salary
BAND B
Disqualification for 7-28 days or 4-6 points on your licence
Between 75% and 125% of your weekly salary
BAND C
Disqualification for 7-56 days or 6 points on your licence
Between 125% and 175% of your weekly salary
